How different colours affect your mood and energy

Why are the colours you choose for your clothing, home, cars and lifestyle so important in relation to energy? Because colour has a direct impact on the way you feel in every aspect, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and even sexually ...
We have spoken previously how colour is used in the home and businesses but how can you use it to your advantage?
The way you use colour and the choices you make will have a direct impact on the way you feel, as it triggers numerous responses. Generally the warmer colours boost energy and happiness, whilst the cooler colours encourage serenity and feelings of calm. It is also important to note the contradictory way we have been taught by society to react to colour for example red is used as road signs to show danger and traffic lights to stop, but as a colour of clothing you are instantly attracted to it as it commands attention and attraction , but a green traffic light which signifies it's safe to move forward will as a colour of clothing not be as magnetic and it is softer, therefore signifying calmness instead of excitement.
Here are the main colours and the impact they may have on your mood , colour therapy can help you understand this concept better but as a rule choose the colours you wear and surround yourself with carefully as they will impact your mood hugely.
Warm colours
Yellow : happiness, joy, optimism
Orange: positivity, warmth, enthusiasm
Red: passion, excitement, love
Cool colours
Green : calm, serenity , peace
Blue : balance, relaxation, quietens mind
Spiritual colours
Purple: magical, spirituality, royalty
White: purity, connection, innocence
Neutral colours
Brown: practicality, grounded , stability
Black: mourning, sophistication, power
