What is Emotional health?

It is a misconception to think that to have good emotional health it is necessary to be happy all the time. Being able to feel and process different emotions is healthy, as human beings we often need to adapt to various emotional states as we journey through life . It is healthy to feel varying emotions which others may view as negative such as anger and rage but it's how we process them and express them which includes our consequential behaviour towards others that is important.
Emotional health is so much more than having the ability to feel and process emotions in a healthy and constructive way , with changes and challenges in life inevitably will come stress and learning ways in how to cope when faced with different sensations is very important. Everybody has their own way of managing Stress, personally I like to take quiet time by myself to assess and then process, for others they may find peace in asking for advice or solutions from others.
Having the ability to manage emotional concerns and knowing when to ask for help will attract positive social connections both in a personal and professional manner, so that when situations arise others will feel you are more approachable when resolving conflict or difficult situations.
Having a strong sense of self is important, knowing who you are will give you a sense of inner confidence along with purpose as opposed simply drifting through life with no sense of who you are or what your dreams or goals are.
Life is indeed a journey and it is up to us to take responsibility for the choices we make as opposed blaming others because making mistakes is what makes us stronger in the long term it's how we learn about our strengths and weaknesses to enable our future choices to be more positive and productive.
